Las personas interesadas en participar disponen hasta el 18 de mayo (plazo ampliado) para presentar sus propuestas.

TEA Tenerife Espacio de las Artes, a través del Centro de Fotografía “Isla de Tenerife” pone en marcha la convocatoria de Artistas en Selección de Fotonoviembre 2021.
 

La XVI edición de la Bienal Internacional de Fotografía, FOTONOVIEMBRE, está organizada por el Cabildo de Tenerife a través del Centro de Fotografía Isla de Tenerife, TEA Tenerife Espacio de las Artes. Ya está abierto el plazo de selección, tras el cual cinco artistas (5) serán elegidos para formar parte de la sección Artistas en Selección, de la bienal FOTONOVIEMBRE 2021, que se celebra este otoño, dirigida por Teresa Arozena.

Artistas en Selección es una muestra abierta a la participación de autores y autoras que utilizan la fotografía, el video y/o la instalación como medio de expresión y para la que no se establecen limitaciones temáticas o conceptuales, para de este modo mostrar el estado actual del medio y a posibles artistas emergentes, a diferencia de la Sección Oficial, que se desarrolla como una propuesta argumental, a través del trabajo curatorial llevado a cabo desde la dirección artística del festival. El apartado de Artistas en Selección es uno de los tres que conformarán Fotonoviembre 2021-bienal que en esta edición cumple treinta años- junto a la Sección Oficial y a Atlántica Colectivas.

De entre las propuestas que no hayan resultado elegidas para Artistas en Selección se realizará otra selección que conforme la sección Atlántica Colectivas.

Los interesados ​​en participar en Artistas en Selección tienen hasta el 18 de mayo (plazo ampliado) para presentar su trabajo. Envíe un correo electrónico a centrodefotografia.tea@tenerife.es adjuntando todo el documento requerido.

The 16th edition of the International Photography Biennial, FOTONOVIEMBRE, is organised by the Cabildo de Tenerife through the Center of Photography Isla de Tenerife, TEA Tenerife Espacio de las Artes. The selection period is now open, after which five artists (5) will be chosen to form part of the section entitled Artistas en Selección, at the FOTONOVIEMBRE 2021 biennial taking place this autumn, directed by Teresa Arozena.

Artistas en Selección is an exhibit that is open to all artists who use photography, video and/or installations as their means of expression.

The aim is to present the medium in its current form, as well as potential emerging artists, unlike the Sección Oficial (official section), which is developed along the lines of a specific proposal, as defined by curators among the art director of the festival. Artistas en Selección is one of three categories that make up the 2021 FOTONOVIEMBRE biennial, which is celebrating its 16th edition this year, along with the Sección Oficial and Atlántica Colectivas.

The projects submitted to Artists in Selection but not chosen for the final selection will be entered into another selection for the Atlántica Colectivas section.

Those interested in participating in Artistas en Selección have until 18 May to submit their work. Please send an email to centrodefotografia.tea@tenerife.es attaching all required document.
